Jet to mop up $200 m via QIPs

Mumbai: Privileged carrier Jet Airways, which has been struggling to mop-up funds for nearly two years, said it will be raising $200 million in the coming 3-4 weeks through the QIP itinerary. The airline also has plans to go back to the market in May or June to raise another $200 million.

M Shivkumar, chief vice-president (finance), Jet, said the first tranche of funding would be through organization of shares with institutions. “With that, we should be able to raise around Rs 1,000 crore.” Jet’s thoroughgoing debt as of December 2009 stands at Rs 14,200 crore and the callers’s debt-equity ratio is about 7:1”. The company is believed to have borrowed at an interest calculate of around 9 %.

K. G Vishwanath, vice-president, Commercial Strategy, Jet, added the airline has not yet finalised clear the way managers for the QIP placement. “The QIP will be priced in line with market expectations,” he said.

Jet, which operates 106 aircraft, has also deferred the acquisition of 13 aircraft for two

Does It Work: Shark's Steam Mop

(WMBF) - Household chores can be a pesky charge for many, but now one product is hoping to make mopping a little bit easier for those not too thrilled with the job.

Shark's Steam Mop promises to sanitize floors - both tile and xyloid - in a short amount of time. The product claims it's sure to use on all floors and works for deep-cleaning and everyday spills.

However, does it effort?

The WMBF News Network put Shark's Steam Mop to the study and found like many products, the mop came in multiple parts. Once the mop caress is all snapped together, users are instructed to attach one of two supplied cleaning pads to the Velcro on the bottom of the mop.

The reusable, gizmo washable pads are practically identical, except for a blue tab on one of them. The instructions say it's to altogether tell the two apart.

To work the mop, users push the traffic in, which pumps water into the built-in steamer. Despite alluring several passes over a number of scuff marks on a rubber stump, the chemical-free steam removed them in a matter of minutes.

Shark Steam Mop - NEWEST Does it Work?

TYLER, TX (KLTV/KPLC) – Many have tried to increase a better mousetrap but most of us still buy the old one.  So when a company comes out with a "less ill mop" we take it as a challenge.  This week, we put the Shark Steam Mop to the "Does It Profession?" test.

The Shark's Steam Mop "sanitizes floors, is conservative on wood floors and works for deep cleaning and inferior spills," or so it claims on the box, "The proof is on the pad."  But for us, the proof we demand is in the "Does It Work?" test.  

They jam a lot of stuff in a small box.  As usual with products like this, the cope with comes in two or three parts but it only takes us seconds to snap it all together.   In the conclusive step, we attach one of two supplied cleaning pads to the bottom of the mop. The reusable, machine washable pads are comparable, except one has a blue tab, the other is plain white.

At first we thought one was for wood, one was for tile or something. But the instructions say it's fair so you can tell them apart.  You can deem one for use in the bathroom and one for use in the Nautical galley, for instance.
