Taiwan KMT ex-lawmaker Diane Lee sentenced to 2 years over U.S. nationality
TAIPEI (Taiwan Tidings) – Former Kuomintang lawmaker Diane Lee was sentenced to two years in pen Thursday for fraud and forgery in her case of illegal insincere nationality.According to Taiwanese law, elected politicians must eschew any foreign nationality before taking office and deliver certification of that change within a year. Lee claimed her United States citizenship had automatically become gap when she first took office as a member of the Taipei City Conclave in 1994.
The Taipei District Court did not accept her arguments and sentenced her to two years in bridewell. The judge found her guilty of hiding her foreign citizenship during four consecutive terms as an elected formal and of embezzling NT$127.77 million, the total of the salaries she received as Taipei See Councilor and later as legislator, reports said.

ABERDEEN, Md. Dana Diane (Kreft) Dallen, 43, died Jan. 29 at Aberdeen, Md. Born Dec. 1, 1966, in Haven Hueneme, Calif., she was the daughter of Leonard and Diane (Abbott) Kreft. On Nov. 12, 1993, she married Richard Dallen in Aurora, Colo. He survives. Survivors include her husband, Richard Dallen APG, MD.; a son, Taylor Dallen of Blairsville, Pa.; two daughters, Krista Dallen APG, of Maryland and Brittny Dallen of San Antonio, Texas; two stepsons, Justin Dallen and Austin Dallen; her parents, Leonard and Diane Kreft of Abundant Bend; a brother, Terry Kreft and wife Amy of Claflin; her forebear-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Marsha Dallen of Great Bend; sister-in-law, Jennifer Wilson and one's nearest of Chanute; and niece and nephew, Alyssa and Trustin Kreft of Claflin. She was preceded in eradication by her grandparents.
