See the 'wild side' of Soule
MIDDLEBORO — The Soule Homestead Cultivation Center is accepting registrations for enrollment in their February Vacation Program that will run from Tuesday, Feb. 16 until Friday, Feb. 19.
Children between the ages of 5-12 can waste the day at the 120-acre working farm and education center in East Middleboro having fun, playing games, singing songs, making crafts, and wisdom about the farm. The children bring their winter walking shoes and develop for a miniature journey to investigate the "wild side" of Soule. A different core is planned for each day.
Tuesday's theme is "Wild Lands" and children will behold the different habitats of Soule and what plants and animals room there.
With "Wild Neighbors" on Wednesday, children will learn how to be a good neighbor to wildlife friends and animals and during "Wet 'n' Wild" on Thursday they will search out the importance of clean water.
Advance tickets on sale for annual Honu Race fundraiser
Additional Honu may be adopted for simply $5 each to increase your chances of winning prizes! Tickets must be bought in lend and are available now through March 19. All proceeds benefit the Leeward Boys & Girls Thrash of Hawaii club houses.

January 14: Three of the stars of the 2010 Kellogg's Nutri-Corn took a breather from their hectic training schedule to abate their heels at Wet ‘N Wild today.
Defending MEN'S champion Shannon Eckstein joined Ironwomen Liz Pluimers and Courtney Hancock and hundreds of leave of absence makers as the Gold Coast turned on another 30 asset day in the lead up to this weekend's opening rounds.
The trio signed autographs, posed for distinctive photos and took on their fans in a series of tug-o-war challenges.
"It's best to get out and mix with the kids and it was good to see so many of them join in the fun of the day," said Eckstein.

Eckstein will be vying for a fifth call and even without three-time winner Zane Holmes , who is out injured, he knows it is thriving to be game on.
