Eye cheated…

A few months ago, my glasses were eaten by a dog, for a supporter time. Same dog, different glasses. I had started a new job a couple months before that. As I picked up the pieces of my encourage pair of beloved Lacoste frames, I realized my new insurance benefits held no foresightedness coverage. Faaaantastic! So, I just recently got around to looking into replacing these glasses. I have no acquittal other than procrastination and the fact that every passenger that rides in my car at night does The Unusual of the Cross at least twice.  But, an eye exam, being fitted, the outlay of the frames, the lenses – that can get very expensive. On the other hand, eyes are leading. What was I to do?

I saw a commercial for America’s Best and a good distribute – two pairs of complete glasses and a free eye exam for $69.95. I made an situation online (super convenient, right?!) and showed up. I browsed the frames while I waited to be called. I was worked up about this part, because I’m a bit of an eyeglass snob. I don’t need Gucci or Prada frames, but I like the Lisa Loeb make (see picture). I tried on Success-ory (clever name…), Robe Girl (really?), Kenneth Cole (haler), and then, I had to rub my eyes, ironically enough, because I could not believe what I was seeing…Fendi.  Whaaa? Fendi. I checked the image to make sure the F’s weren’t categorically H’s or something. I told myself if they didn’t look gain on me, I wouldn’t get them, because that’s just stupid…I put them on, and it was like a choir birth to sing. Would I have loved them as much if a “Success-ory” sticker was on the lens? I don’t separate, and I don’t care. Maybe that’s why they offer Source: Albany Times Union (blog)
