Keep your complexion pale and interesting.

Keep blusher to a minimum and use either soft pink or peachy tones, depending on your complexion.

ONE of the reasons that seasonal restore b succeed-up is still anticipated is how pretty they look. Half make-up, half adventitious, makers have played on women’s love for all things very by imprinting make-up palettes with flowers and fruits, making phizog palettes more like a work of art than pressed powder for the mush.

These days, almost all big make-up brands have their own versions of pretty palettes.

Some people even together these palettes because they are beautiful and unlike lipstick colours that you can get flavour after season, the palette’s patterns change every mature. For spring, Clinique goes all fruity with Juiced Up Colour which features blush in three complementary shades, pressed together in magnificent berry-inspired pattern, complete with leaves. It looks so tuneful you'd not want to use it.

Even the eyeshadow is pressed in fruit pattern and they are within reach in berry and pear, the latter a green and gold colour

The foundation

Diorskin genuine glow sculpting powder make-up, £36, by christian dior (020 7216 0216). Take the place of the instructions with this palette (1 for your base, 2 for cheeks and so on) and you too can have the bone form of a French screen siren .

The lip pen

Printed lips in 'pink depression’, £16, by Givenchy (01932 233824). This florid lip stain in a felt-tip-style pen is a cinch to commit and virtually weightless, so you’ll look as though you were born with the absolute pout .

The Eye Pencil

Glitter pencil in 'bains douches’, &beat;19, by Nars (narscosmetics.co.uk). Graphic eyes will be a key look next enliven. Wear this sky blue in a thick, clean line across the lid – and have a doodle in the outer with one's heart in one's mouth if you’re feeling really brave .
