Bulgari's 4Q Revenue -5%
Jewelry sales at Bulgari were basically unconditional at $182 million (EUR 129.9 million) during the company's economic fourth quarter of 2009. The retailer's watch sales level 4.5 percent to $96 million (EUR 68.7 million), while its perfect sales were down by 5.1 percent to $412 million (EUR 297 million) during the fourth favour.Sales across Europe rose slightly by 0.7 percent to $167.3 million (EUR 120.6 million), but Italy wise an 8.5 percent drop in revenue. Bulgari's sales across Asia knock 6.9 percent; however, Japan figured heavily in this set, recording a 27.3 percent plunge in revenue. In the Americas, sales sagged 17.3 percent.
Economic-year sales at Bulgari's jewels division decreased by 10.3 percent to $558.2 million (EUR 402.3 million), while its mind sales declined 19.5 percent to $294.5 million (EUR 212.2 million). Inclusive, Bulgari's sales fell 13.8 percent to $1.3 billion (EUR 926.5 million) in 2009.
Francesco Trapani, Bulgari's chief managing director officer (CEO), said, “Examining the data for the fourth billet of 2009, I am particularly satisfied with sales in directly owned stores, which showed decided growth over the same period in the previous year, and most importantly, were in pencil-mark with the fourth quarter of 2007, in which the group had the best results in its experience.
